El primer cuento de Pirañita / Pirañita's first story

Llevabamos menos de dos semanas en el colegio nuevo, expuestas al método fonético para aprender a leer y escribir. A lo que trabajaban en el colegio, añadimos el trabajo que estábamos haciendo en casa, leyendo cuentos, tanto comerciales como creados ex-profeso, y un método llamado All About Spelling que compramos el año pasado y prácticamente abrimos y cerramos cuando cambiamos de cole.

It had been less than two weeks since we started in the new school and since we had been exposed to the phonic method to learn to read and write. On top of the work done at school, we had been reading books, both commercial and custom-made, and following the All About Spelling method that we bought last year and almost opened and closed when we changed schools. 

Está claro que esto no viene de un par de semanas, sino del trabajo llevado a cabo a lo largo de un periodo mucho mayor, a través de distintas metodologías. Sin embargo, el día 21 de enero de 2016, Pirañita escribió su primer cuento 100% por sí misma. Por primera vez, no era un cuento narrado o dibujado, sino sólo texto escrito sin ayuda. Una narración escrita en todas regla. 

Obviously, this is not something that happened in two weeks but the result of a much longer period of time in which different methods had been applied. However, it was on January 21st, 2016 when Pirañita wrote her first story 100% by herself. For the first time, it is not a told story, nor a drawn one, but plain text wirte without assistance. A written story by its own right.

The colours of the hearts. 

One day one heart came and did one person and the heart ... that ...  

Traducción: 

¡Felicidades, mi Amor, sigue así! ¡Eres increíble! ¡Lo estás haciendo fenomenal! 

Congratulations, my Dear! Keep going! You are incredible! You are doing it amazingly!
